				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>CHARLESTON, SC &#8212; Medal of Honor Bowl Committee Chairman Tommy McQueeney and Gil Kirkman have jointly announced that Kirkman Broadcasting will air the football game locally and online.</p>
<p>The inaugural game will air on SportsRadio 1450 AM.  The broadcast will begin at 1:30 pm with the pregame leading up to the 2 o&#8217;clock kickoff, and will be presented by Crews Chevy and Crews Subaru of Charleston.</p>
<p>To access the game online, refer to <a href="http://www.charlestonsportsradio.com" title="Charleston Sports Radio Broadcast Link" target="_blank">www.charlestonsportsradio.com</a> and click the &#8220;Listen Live&#8221; link for 1450 AM.</p>
<p>Working the broadcast will be play-by-play announcer Lee Glaze with color commentary by Ted Byrne.  Angela Mallen will report from the sidelines.</p>
<p>Glaze, a native Charlestonian and a 1996 inductee into The Citadel Athletic Hall of Fame, was the Southern Conference Athlete of the Year in 1986, as he earned Division I All-America honors in baseball and also played football.  Glaze is a full-service real estate agent in Sumter and serves as the sideline reporter for The Citadel Sports Network.</p>
<p>Byrne is one of eight announcers to handle play-by-play responsibilities for The Citadel, as he called memorable football wins over Arkansas, South Carolina and Army from 1990-92. Byrne has been the public address announcer for the minor league baseball and hockey teams in Charleston and was the color commentator on The Southern Conference TV package on SportsSouth and CSS from 1993-96.  Until his cancer diagnosis in September of 2012, Byrne was the producer for ESPN 98.9&#8242;s popular Fan Talk Show with Bobby Hartin.  He is currently in remission and is excited about being on the air again.</p>
<p>Mallen is a graduate of the College of Charleston with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.  Her resume includes being a sideline reporter for SEC, ACC and ESPN3 games while also working as a women&#8217;s basketball play-by-play announcer.  She has worked with the ESPN Charleston Basketball Classic each year, works on the &#8220;Thursday Night Lights&#8221; high school football broadcasts and was a sports reporter for WISE-TV in Columbia.  </p>
